One Door's 'Mental Health in the Workplace - Cooperate Lunch'

Community Gateway Supports One Door's 'Mental Health in the Workplace - Cooperate Lunch'

Last Friday Community Gateway participated in One Door's Cooperate lunch, in which all money raised going to the One Door Mental Health Clubhouse in Auburn Street, Wollongong, and to a program to support teenagers who care for their mentally ill parent/s.

"We are pleased to support One door and the amazing work they do with people experiencing mental health by offering 10 of our employees an opportunity to attend the workplace wellbeing lunch. We used this initiative to recognise and reward our employees whilst contributing to a worthy cause. It is vital that the community is aware of and support people experiencing mental health" said Community Gateway CEO - Craig Thomson

The event had over 300 attendees with silent auction, raffle prizes and a personal account of his personal mental illness journey from Osher Gunsberg. Community Gateway staff had a fabulous time together whilst reflecting on the importance of mental health and wellbeing.
