Martin is incredibly inspiring. He has spent most of his time riding push bikes and even recently handed in his licence and now owns a tricycle. He approached Community Gateway looking for something new to learn. He decided at 90 years of age that he would like to dive into the world of technology and opted to learn the iPad.
After only 3 weeks of participating in Gateway Services mentoring program with Krystal, he can now send emails, navigate Wikipedia, open up YouTube and watch videos on his bike riding heroes. Martin can also navigate his iPad to listen to his favourite classical music.
Martin continues to improve with using his iPad and has recently started to learn about his family tree and knows how to use google to watch a live church mass from the comfort of his own home.
