It’s pleasing to see the vaccination rate of NSW pass 60%, however getting access to the vaccine can still be a challenge for many.
This week, our Wollongong Hub is acting as a temporary vaccination hub to help create equity for the most vulnerable in our community.
For our Director of Health Services, Jo Naughton, the partnership with Illawarra Disability Alliance and Aspen Medical couldn’t have come at a better time. “By providing the vaccination in a safe area at our Wollongong Hub, for people with a disability and their carers, we hope to see them enjoying the same privileges as everyone else when the time comes and restrictions ease.”
