Location: Wollongong / Nowra / Kempsey & Port Macquarie NSW

Position: Multiple Part-time and Casual positions available

Remuneration

This job is more than just a pay cheque, but we understand the dollars are important too. Below are some examples of the potential earnings:

  • Our Community Support Workers working a 40-hour fortnightly roster have the potential to earn $1320 each pay period.

  • Our Community Support Workers working a 30-hour fortnightly roster have the potential to earn $1030 each pay period.

 

About the role

As a community worker you will be responsible for providing flexible care to our clients. This flexible care can include such things as: 

  • Providing personal care

  • Domestic duties such as cleaning and meal preparation

  • Assistance with community access and recreational activities

  • Transportation and social engagement

 

About you

  • Passionate, creative and caring person with a can-do attitude.

  • No formal qualifications are needed (but would be highly regarded)

  • Commitment to provide high quality, wellness focused care

  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment

  • Students completing certificates in Home and Community Care, Aged Care, Disabilities, or Individual support are encouraged to apply. Complete your placement hours while participating in paid employment.

  • Availability to work flexibly with shifts starting at 6am or finishing at 10pm, as well as weekend availability, would be highly regarded.

 

The successful applicant will need (or be willing to obtain):

  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate

  • Current Driver's License and access to a reliable and insured motor vehicle

  • Availability to a Smart Phone.

  • Working with Children Check

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check

  • Proof of vaccination COVID 19
